5 out of 5 stars A Fun Math Adventure   June 3, 2008

Both of my children love this game! My daughter is 8 and my son is 5 and they can not get enough of this game. Because of this game my daughter has her math facts down pact and has loads of fun in the high level/fast paced games but more importantly is at the top of her class in terms of math. My son is a nut and loves math more than most. He is currently on the first level and and learning in a new interactive way. He feels great playing a big kid game and my daughter loves being on the top of her game in school and on the game. Great for car rides, reinforcement, guilt free game time. Man I wish we had games like this when I was a kid!

I was so happy to find a product like this on the market. I have twin boys age 8 and they both like this game. It's great because it reinforces concepts they have learned at school, while also building on new ones. The format allows the player to learn at his/her individual level and rewards them along the way. It's so refreshing to find a product that teaches your children important concepts! I hope more games come out like this on the market.

My son loves the game and even his teacher is happy about it!! My son is 7 1/2 and in second grade. It is sharpening his skills so that the boring math work that he just "loves" to do is a little easier for him. You have to think fast and be on your toes. The game gets more difficult at each level and you need to pass one level in order to get to the next. For each mission completed you earn "money" to upgrade your space ship, etc. The game is great for teaching decision making and quick thinking skills besides for the (obvious) math skills. Math Patrol is also great for boosting self confidence. When passing a "quiz" or a level, or even just answering a question he hasn't already learned in school, he feels so smart. I'm loving it because he's learning as he's playing.
