| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Hold On To The Seat Of Your Pants! You're about to go for a ride you'll never forget! This is too cool! Rocket Jockey is ALOT of fun to play. In each of the three different modes of play, Rocket Race, Rocket War, and Rocket Ball, you hop on the back of, well, a rocket, and zip around, steering your craft by shooting grapples out of the sides of your craft and attaching them topillars positioned around the arena. Picture the possibilities: using a hook to knock some loser off the back of his rocket; grabbing him as he desperately struggles to get back to it; and, if you're really skilled (and really mean), dragging his bike just a few steps ahead of him while he scampers behind you impotently. As we said in the beginning...cool!

FREAK'N SWEET GAME! May 10, 2007 This is about the most awesome game i have ever played! I Really Wish there was a remake but if you got a computer that is able to go low enough to run this game then i suggest buying it!
Buy it if not just for the soundtrack. November 26, 2005 This game has, and is still providing from time to time, non-stop breakneck whiteknuckle in your face action, back when games were about gameplay, not graphics and complicated storyline.
From choosing rockets and oddly-named player character to yanking someone off of their ultra fast rocket with a claw and attaching them to a pole, Rocket Jockey is unbelievable. The soundtrack is what brings this game to masterpiece status.
The soundtrack, done by Surf Guitar God Dick Dale, and backed by bands the Ultras and Alpha 60, this game is worth buying for the music alone. Pop it into your regular CD player, skip track 1, and enjoy the Hard, balls-to-the-wall Surf Prog Rock done the way it should've been done for years. Forget about the typical stereotype of happy-go-lucky Surf tunes; this stuff means business. Dark and eerie, yet pumping and energizing- I wish these bands would collaborate more often.
This game gets 5 stars. The soundtrack gets 10.
This game is SWEET June 3, 2005 I had this game back in high school, I ran it on my win 95 system. The graphics are not the best, but it is an old game (I think it was really old when I got it) But man what a blast this game is. You ride around on these rockets with bick handle bars, shooting off these spears from either side of your rocket. The spears have ropes attached to them, and they can either stab other riders off their bikes, grab walls, or poles sticking out of the ground. There are 3 different game types, battle, race, and ball. The Ball one is like soccer, where you grab balls that pop up out of the ground and try to throw them into goals, battle, you just battle other riders, and race, well... you race. The battles are great, you can grab other riders off and drag them around the arena, or my favorite, grab them and drag them full speed into a fence or wall HAHA. I had some problems running this game on XP, but I still play it on my old system from time to time. It was a really good game and I thought it needed a review.
