The Secret of Monkey Island was one of the first adventure games I ever played, and it did not disappoint. Sure, the graphics are poor by today's standards, but the gameplay is worth it. This is a worthy start to one of the best adventure series ever, and I recommend all of the Monkey Island series.

The gameplay features simple point and click controls, and the puzzles are challenging, but not to the point of being frustrating. This game also includes some very funny lines, and a wonderful section of gameplay featuring Insult Swordfighting.

I strongly recommend this game to anyone who loves a good story and a good laugh.
