this is a great game . the moment i started playing i couldnt put it down.

I own a PS2 but was given the CTR for PS1 as a gift. Assuming the graPHics were too low to enjoy we didn't even turn the game on for several week. When my 4 year old son finally put it into the console we didn't turn it off for 3 days straight (except to sleap). The controles are easy enough for anyone to learn but the little extra's (like power slides) give the older kids a little advantage. My 4 year old son loves it and can win the races 1/20 times. My 7 year old daughter is not any good at playing and comes in last each time but has such fun that she doesn't mind. My husband and I challange each other as soon as the kids go to sleap.Graphics are better than any PS1 game I've seen (admittedly I've not seen many) and certainly no detraction from the game. GREAT FOR ALL AGES. Even for players like my daughter who comes in last in ever race, this game is perfect since there is the option to play many race coarses even if you don't win thus she doesn't get frustrated. A MUST BUY FOR EVERY FAMILY.

i love it!!!!i have this game,and play it all the time!for one-player solid raceing experenecre,adventure mode is the one!for muitiplayer cart raceing frenzys,pick battle or vs!mine is battle.:)(i`ve beaten it,an meh dad didn`t come close to beating him!)

I have an X-box. My 8 year old daughter "inherited" my old Playstation. Unfortunately, there just are not a lot of games we can play together on the X-box. However, after purchasing CTR, she doesn't even care about the X-box. In fact, I probably spend more time playing this game with her on the old Playstation than with any X-box game I own. Great two player racing, fun characters, highly addictive game-play. This game has it all!

My husband and I bought PS One for our 8 and 5 year old daughters for Christmas this year and we got about 12 games to go with it. Crash Team Racing is the #1 favorite game out of them all! Both my kids can play this game VERY well.. infact they hate taking turns to play so, we have ordered two more controllers so that we can all play together !!! I recommend this game for any age.
